Our place, Classes By Ca Ashish Pathak, is on the 3rd floor of Goel Complex in Nishatganj, Lucknow. We are really close to the Nishatganj railway crossing, so you can often hear the trains going by while we’re working. It’s a bit of a landmark in itself. Being on the third floor means we’re a bit away from the street noise, though. It’s a straightforward setup. We have a few rooms dedicated to CA coaching. This subject is tough, so we don't try to sugarcoat it with fancy talk. It’s just about sitting down and doing the work. We started these classes because Ashish wanted a place where he could teach the way he thinks is best. It’s a local operation, no big corporate rules here. We know our students by name and we know what they’re struggling with. Sometimes we stay late to finish a topic or clear some doubts before a big test. The building isn't new, but it’s sturdy and it serves us well. We don't have any flashy signs or big advertisements. People usually find us through word of mouth or by seeing the complex when they're stuck at the crossing. It’s a very human way of doing things. We just try to be honest about how much effort is needed to pass these exams. It’s a busy, focused little corner of Lucknow and we’re here most days.
