You’ll find us in the basement of the Kailash Kala Building over in Hazratganj. Being in a basement has its ups and downs. It stays cooler during the peak Lucknow summers, which everyone appreciates, but you do miss out on seeing the sunlight sometimes. Hazratganj is always moving, so there’s a constant hum from the street above us. We have a few classrooms down here. They are practical spaces with plain walls and sturdy furniture. People usually find us by looking for the sign near the stairs. It’s a bit of a walk down, and the hallway can be a little dim, but once you’re inside the classrooms, it’s bright enough. We’ve been operating out of this spot for some time, and the regulars know exactly where to go. There isn't a lot of extra space, so we use every corner for storage or extra seating. Sometimes the rain makes the entrance a bit slippery, so we have to put out mats. It’s a very local vibe. We don’t have fancy coffee machines or a big lounge. Most of the time is spent standing at the front of a room or sitting at a desk checking papers. It’s just a normal place where work happens every day without any big fuss. The students come in, do their time, and head back out into the Hazratganj crowd.
