Bright Future Classes

Our place is House Number 127 B in the Nahru Nager area of Lucknow. It is very close to the Aish Bag Station, so you can always hear the trains coming and going. Sometimes the whole floor vibrates a little when the big engines pass by. Bright Future Classes is mostly just us working with local kids who need a bit of extra time with their schoolwork. We have been in this Nehru Nagar neighborhood for quite some time. The rooms aren't very big, but we make it work by moving the benches around to fit everyone. It gets quite hot in the summers, so we have two big coolers running all the time. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk near the door where parents come to talk. Most of the families around here know us by name. We see the same faces every day. There is a lot of dust from the station road, so we are always cleaning the windows and wiping down the tables. It is a simple setup we have here. We don't use much technology, just the old-fashioned way of writing things down on the board. The kids come in after their lunch and stay until the sun starts to go down. It feels like a second home for most of us because we spend more time here than anywhere else in Lucknow. We keep a few spare umbrellas by the door for when the monsoon rains start unexpectedly.
