Bombay Parlour

Bombay Parlour is located right in the middle of Nakhas at New Market, Shop Number 96. If you know Victoria Street, you’ll find us easily enough. We’ve been operating out of this spot in Lucknow for quite some time. It's a busy area, always a lot of noise and people moving around outside. Inside the parlour, things are a bit more focused. We handle basic grooming and hair work. It’s not one of those big modern places with neon lights. We just have our tools and our regulars who have been coming for years. The shop is small but we keep it organized. Being in Nakhas means we see all sorts of people every day. Some just want a quick trim, others are getting ready for a wedding in the family. We don't do much advertising, mostly people just know we are here. Shop 96 has become a familiar corner for us. We start early in the morning and stay open until the market starts to quiet down. The chairs are old but comfortable. We don't use fancy jargon or anything. If you tell us what you want, we do it. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a short break. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve stayed in this same location because it’s where our community is. Most of the people around here are like friends now. We just keep working and keeping things simple for everyone who walks in.
