Bombay Menz Parlour

Our shop is right in Janta Market in the Hazratganj area of Lucknow. If you know Lucknow, you know Hazratganj is the place to be, but Janta Market is a bit more grounded and busy with regular shops. We have been running Bombay Menz Parlour as a place for the local men to get a quick shave or a haircut. It is a fast-paced environment because people are always in a rush to get back to work or catch a bus. We have the usual row of chairs and big mirrors that have seen many years of service. The floor is usually covered in hair until we get a second to sweep it up between clients. We talk about cricket or the local politics while we work. It is a place where you don't have to act fancy. Just come in, sit down, and tell us what you want. The market outside is always full of people looking for deals, and we are just one part of that noise. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer and the small fans we have just move the warm air around, but nobody complains much. It is just part of living in the city. We keep our tools clean and our hands steady. Most of our customers have been coming to us since they were kids. It is a steady business and we stay open as long as people need us.
