Beauty Star Hair Dressor And Gents Parlour has been around here in the Neelgiri Complex for quite a while now. If you know Indira Nagar on Faizabad Road, you know it gets really crowded in the afternoons. Our shop is just one of those places where men come to get a quick shave or a haircut after work. It is not a big place but it serves the purpose. I have three chairs and they are usually full on Sundays. That is the busiest day for us. The tea stall nearby brings us tea twice a day and that is when we take a small break. You will see a lot of talk here about local things or just what is happening in Lucknow. We keep the scissors sharp and the combs clean, that is mostly what matters in this line of work. The lights inside the complex can be a bit dim sometimes so I added some extra bulbs near the mirrors. It gets quite hot in the summers so the ceiling fan is always running at full speed. Sometimes young boys come in with photos on their phones of some movie star and ask for the same hair style. We do what we can with what they have. It is a simple life running a gents parlour here and we know most of our customers by their names now because they have been coming for years. I like the routine of it all and being part of this complex.
