Beauty Parlour For Women

We are located in Gali No 2 on Nehru Nagar Road in Lucknow. It is a little bit away from the main Vidhan Sabha Road, so it is a bit quieter for the women who come here. We started this parlour because we wanted a place for the ladies in our part of Indrani Nagar to come and relax for a bit. The shop isn't very big and we have two small rooms. We used some heavy curtains to divide the space for privacy when we are doing waxing or facials. The curtains have faded a bit over the years from the sunlight coming through the door. We spend a lot of our time chatting with the neighbors who stop by for a quick thread. We keep a box of snacks in the corner for when the local kids come in with their mothers. The lighting inside is a bit soft and yellow, which makes the place feel warm in the winter months. We don't have anyone sitting at a desk to take appointments, so we just pick up the phone ourselves when we aren't busy with a customer. Sometimes we have to wash the towels at home and bring them in because we don't have a machine here. The drain in the back room is a bit slow and needs a lot of cleaning, but we manage. It’s just a small, honest business in a neighborhood we really like.
