Bansi Lal Bhagwn Das

Bansi Lal Bhagwn Das is located in Narahi, down the Radha Krishna Mandir Lane. It is an old-fashioned sort of place, which I think fits the name we have. We are right near Sanjay Lodge, and the lane is usually quite busy with people going to the temple or guests staying at the lodge. Because of our location, we keep many items that people use for their daily prayers, along with the usual kitchen groceries. The air around the shop often smells like incense because of the temple nearby. It is a narrow lane, so things can get a bit congested during festivals or special days. We have many old wooden drawers and cupboards where we keep the stock. Sometimes finding a specific item takes a little bit of time because we have so many different things tucked away in the corners. It is just the way we have always done things here. We know most of the people who walk through our door by their faces, and they often stay for a quick chat while we pack their items. We do not use any computers or fancy billing systems, just a pen and a paper notebook to keep track of the sales. It is a small and simple place in a very busy part of Lucknow. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in.
