Babita Beauty Parlour

Babita Beauty Parlour is located inside Shivnai Plaza over in Gomti Nagar. It is a decent spot, though finding parking in this part of Lucknow can be a bit of a headache some days. We have been working out of this shop for some time now. It’s not a very large place, just enough room for a few chairs and the stuff we need for skincare and hair. Most of the ladies who come here live in the apartments nearby. They usually just want a quick trim or to get their eyebrows done before an event. We don't have any of those expensive machines or anything. It’s mostly just hands-on work. The lighting in the plaza isn't always the best, so we put up some extra bulbs inside so we can see what we are doing. Sometimes the tea guy from downstairs forgets our order, so we end up waiting for our break. We try to keep the mirrors clear of dust, but in Lucknow, the dust always finds a way in. We don't spend money on fancy flyers. People just see the sign outside Shivnai Plaza and come up. It’s a quiet kind of business. We do the work, chat about the weather or local news, and that’s about it. It’s just a normal day-to-day thing for us here. We like the neighborhood and the people are generally quite patient even when we are running a few minutes behind schedule.
