Awadh Luv Kush Knowledge Foundation

Living and working out of Plot No. 8 at Asia Pacific Residency in Lucknow keeps us right in the middle of everything. The Awadh Luv Kush Knowledge Foundation is something we started because we saw a lot of kids and adults who just wanted to learn something new. Lucknow is a big city, and it’s easy to get lost in the shuffle. We wanted to create a space that felt more like a home than a school. Our neighbors are good people, and they’ve been patient with us having folks coming in and out all the time. Sometimes the traffic on the main road makes it hard to hear, but we manage. We aren’t experts in everything, but we try to share what we know. It’s a bit of a squeeze in the office sometimes when we have a few people over, but we make it work. We have books piled up in the corners and a few old computers that we keep running. It’s not about being the best; it’s just about passing on knowledge to whoever needs it. We don't have a big budget or any flashy signs outside. Most people find us by word of mouth. We drink a lot of chai and talk about how to help the community. It’s simple, direct, and keeps us connected to the real world here in Uttar Pradesh.
