Our shop is a straightforward place. We don't have big signs or bright lights. It’s just a room filled with everyday necessities. We sell things like oil, salt, sugar, and some toiletries. The counter is wooden and a bit scratched up from years of use. We don't follow any strict corporate rules here. If a neighbor is short a few rupees, we usually tell them to pay next time. That’s just how things work in a place like Khala Bazar. Sometimes the delivery truck can't get down the narrow lane, so we have to carry the sacks of flour by hand from the main road. It's hard work, but it keeps the shop running. The lighting inside is a bit dim, and the shelves are packed tight. We don't really have a lot of space for people to wander around, so they usually just stand at the front and tell us what they need. We’ve seen families grow up in this neighborhood. Children who used to come in for sweets now come in to buy things for their own homes. We are just a small, local shop trying to stay useful to the people around us in Purana Haideganj every day.
