Apsara Hair Cutting Salon

Apsara Hair Cutting Salon is found in Tambaku Mandi within the Chaupatiyan area of Lucknow. We are quite close to the Talha Masjid, so the calls to prayer are a regular part of our daily routine here. The market area is always full of smells and sounds from the different shops selling tobacco and other goods. Our salon is a modest place where we have been serving the local community for a long time. We don't have any of the modern fancy equipment, just the traditional razors and scissors that we have used for years. The shop is a bit tucked away, but the locals know exactly where to find us when they need a shave. The walls have a few old pictures on them and the chairs are comfortable enough for a short stay. It gets very busy on Friday mornings before the prayers, as many men want to look their best. We spend most of our time chatting with the customers about the local happenings in 226003. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the door when it pours heavily, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. It is a friendly atmosphere where nobody is in too much of a rush. We are just happy to be a part of the daily life in this old part of Lucknow.
