Anshu Choching Center

Anshu Choching Center is located at Shop No 7 in the Palika Market. This is right on Aliganj Road in the Kapoorthala section of Lucknow. Being inside Palika Market means we are surrounded by all sorts of shops. It’s a lively place to be. Our center is actually quite small since it’s just one of the market shops. We have squeezed in enough benches for the students, though it can feel a bit tight when the whole group shows up. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. It’s just us. We’ve been running this place for a while and we know the market like the back of our hand. The sounds of the market are always there in the background, from people haggling to the chai wallah calling out. We usually get our tea from the same guy every afternoon. It’s a bit of a tradition now. We don't do any big advertising. Most of the kids who come here live nearby or their older siblings came here years ago. We just keep things basic. There’s a whiteboard, some markers, and some old textbooks on the shelves. It’s a bit dusty because of the open market front, but we sweep it out every morning. It’s a real, local business with no frills. We just do what we do and hope it helps the students get through their exams.
