Aneeta Beauty Parlour

Aneeta Beauty Parlour sits at Shop No 6 along the Aliganj Dandiya Bazaar Road. We are quite close to the Police Chauki at Chand Ganj. It’s a small place, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside. I started this parlour because I enjoyed doing hair and makeup for my friends and family. Now it’s a full-time job for me. The area is always bustling with the bazaar right there. You can hear the noise from the street all day. We do the usual things like threading, facials, and bridal makeup when it’s the season. It’s not a fancy salon like the ones in the big malls. It’s just a practical space for women in the neighborhood to get their work done. My sister helps me out on Saturdays. We use the products that people trust. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how it is in Lucknow. I try to keep the place tidy, though with all the hair and powders, it’s a constant task. We have a few regulars who have been coming since we opened. They sit and chat while I work. It feels more like a community spot than a business. No fancy uniforms here, just us in our regular clothes. We open early so people can visit before their daily chores. It’s a simple life running a shop in Dandiya Bazar. I wouldn't have it any other way.
