We’ve been at Lekhraj Khajana for a good while now. Indira Nagar is always busy, especially on Faizabad Road with all the traffic passing by. Most people know the building, it's a big landmark here. The shop itself is simple, just some chairs and mirrors. We open up in the morning, sweep the floor, and wait for the regulars to show up. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving. A lot of guys come in after work for a quick shave or a haircut before they head home to their families. We aren't trying to be fancy like those big mall shops you see nowadays. It’s just a place where you can sit down, have a bit of a chat about the news or the weather, and get your hair sorted out. Sometimes it's noisy because of the main road outside, but that’s just how it is in this part of Lucknow. We keep the towels clean and the scissors sharp. It’s a small space, so you might have to wait a few minutes if the chairs are full. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. You’ll find us right there at number 7 in the complex. It’s easy to spot once you’re inside Lekhraj Khajana. We don't do anything too complicated, just the usual stuff that people need to look decent for their day.
