We are located in the Prince Complex in Hazratganj, right in the middle of Lucknow. If you know the area, you know it's always busy with traffic and people walking around. Our office is at number 320. It is just a standard office space where we help people figure out their next steps for their jobs or exams. Lucknow has changed a lot, but Hazratganj still feels like the heart of it. We spend most of our day talking to young people who aren't quite sure what to do after finishing their studies. Aims Career Maker isn't some huge corporation. It's just a few of us sitting at desks with a lot of paperwork and some computers. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Usually, people just pull up a chair and we talk. The halls in Prince Complex can be a bit dark sometimes, but our room is well-lit. We’ve had a lot of different people walk through that door over the years. Some are looking for government jobs, others want to try something else. We just try to give them the information we have. It’s a lot of reading through notices and explaining how applications work. It gets busy during the middle of the day, so sometimes you have to wait a bit. We don't have a big marketing team. We just stay here and do the work. It is a long day but it is worth it.
