Agarwal Trading Corporation is tucked away in Lekhraj Market-3. We have units 151 and 152 here in Indira Nagar. If you’ve ever been on Faizabad Road, you know it’s one of the busiest parts of the city. There is always someone honking or a rickshaw trying to squeeze past. Our shop is right in the middle of all that action. Trading is a lot about timing and knowing who needs what. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or talking to people who drop by the market. It’s a very social way to make a living. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea and watching the crowds. Other days it feels like we can't move fast enough to keep up with everything. The market has its own personality, and we’ve been a part of it for a while now. We aren't doing anything complicated, just buying and selling things like people have done for years. The walls in our unit could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy to worry about that. It’s a practical space for a practical business. We know most of the other shop owners nearby. It feels like a little community even though it’s so loud and crowded outside. We just show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings us.
