Acda Classes

Acda Classes is based in Aashiyana, not too far from the petrol pump. It is one of those spots in Lucknow where there is always a bit of movement. Having the petrol pump nearby means we always have cars and bikes buzzing around, but our corner stays relatively tucked away. The space we have isn't very large. It’s just a few rooms where we have set up some basic furniture for teaching. We didn't spend much on decor or fancy lighting because that isn't really what we are about. We have some sturdy wooden tables and a couple of whiteboards that we use every single day. The floor is tiled and easy to sweep, which is good because the dust in Aashiyana can be quite a lot during the dry months. We open up in the morning and usually stay until the evening lights come on. There is no big marketing team here. It is just us handling the phones and talking to anyone who walks in the door. Sometimes the tea we make in the back smells better than the actual lessons, but that’s just how it goes. People find us because they live in the colonies around here and need a place that’s easy to reach. We just provide the space and the time for people to sit down with their books and figure things out. It’s a very plain, functional environment for learning.
