Abhay General Store

Abhay General Store is right here at Khurram Nagar Square in Lucknow. If you know the area, we are quite close to the Mayur Vihar Residency. It is a good spot because a lot of people live nearby and they stop in while they are out walking or coming back from work. Lucknow is a big city but this corner of Khurram Nagar feels like a small village sometimes. I see the same neighbors every morning when they come for their milk and bread. I try to keep the shop organized, but with so many small items, it can get a bit cluttered. We have everything from soap to snacks and stationery. The traffic at the square is always moving, and the sound of the vehicles is like background music to my day. I usually have a small radio playing some old songs to keep me company. The counter is where I spend most of my time, talking to people and bagging up their things. My son helps me out in the afternoons when he is not busy. We do not have any fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a regular store where you can get what you need without any fuss. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but for now, they are fine.
