Abdul Mens Parlour

Abdul Mens Parlour is tucked away in Maa Complex. We are on Natkhera Road in the Alambagh area of Lucknow. The big landmark nearby is Jai Prakash Chauraha, so we aren't hard to find. It’s a typical men’s shop. We’ve got the old-style chairs and the smell of aftershave in the air. We do shaves, cuts, and head massages. It’s a place where men can just sit for a few minutes and not worry about much. Alambagh is always moving, but inside the parlour, it’s a bit more steady. We have been part of Maa Complex for a good while now. We know the other shopkeepers around here. It’s a community. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but they’ve seen a lot of history. We don't have fancy brochures or anything. Just a sign outside. Most of our regulars just walk in. They don't need an appointment. If the chair is empty, you sit down. If not, you wait a bit. We talk about the weather or whatever is on the news. It’s a very normal, local vibe. Lucknow 226005 is home to us. We try to do a solid job so people come back next month. There isn't much more to it than that. Just a barber shop on Natkhera Road doing what it's always done. No fuss, just hair. We close up when the last customer leaves and start again the next day.
