If you are looking for Aatufa Foundation, you just have to find Meena Bekari in Dariyapur Rajajipuram. We are right there at House No.-351/P/5, Khasra No.47. The smell of fresh bread from the bakery is probably the best part of working here, especially in the mornings. Dariyapur is a busy part of Rajajipuram, with plenty of narrow lanes and people moving about. Our place is tucked away a little bit, but the bakery is a landmark everyone knows. The office itself is quite modest. We have some old wooden desks and a couple of filing cabinets that have seen better days. It is a bit cramped when all of us are in at the same time, but we make it work. We don't really bother with fancy decorations or anything. The walls have a few calendars and some notes tacked up, and that’s about it. Most of our neighbors are local shopkeepers or families who have lived here for decades. It feels like a real neighborhood, not some sterile office park. We spend our days handling the foundation's business, which usually involves a lot of writing and talking. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit outside or chat until it comes back on. It is a very normal, local way of doing things. We like being part of the daily life here in Rajajipuram and just getting our work done every single afternoon.
