Aatmiye Social Foundation

We are based out of Vijayant Khand in Lucknow. The office is at B-2/117. It's just a regular spot where a few of us get together to work on things for the community. Most days we are busy dealing with the paperwork and talking to people who come by the door. Lucknow is a big place, but Vijayant Khand feels like its own little world sometimes. We've been here for a bit now, just trying to be useful. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It is more of a practical space. We drink a lot of tea while we sort through what needs to be done. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but we keep at it. People ask what we do, and mostly we just say we're here to help where it makes sense. It’s not about big speeches or anything. It's just about showing up. We have our desks set up and we keep things moving. The weather here in Uttar Pradesh gets really hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going. It’s a simple setup. If you’re ever near the 226010 area, you might see our sign. We don't spend much on advertising because there is always too much work to do right here. We just take things one day at a time and try to keep our neighbors in mind. That's pretty much us at Aatmiye Social Foundation.
