Seijosaagro Navkrishak Farmers Producer Company Limited is based at Papu Hill in Naharlagun. We use a space at Kapit Bechang Puroik’s place to run our business. Being in the Papum Pare district means we are a bit closer to the main roads, which helps us out. We are a group of farmers who wanted to pool our resources together. It’s mostly about making sure we can get our crops to market without losing too much money. We deal with whatever is growing in the local fields at the time. Our office is a very plain room where we keep our files and meet with the farmers. It isn't anything like the corporate offices you see in big cities. We don't have any fancy marketing materials or staff in uniforms. It’s just us in our regular clothes, sitting around and talking about the harvest. The weather around here can be tough, especially when the heavy rains come. We just try to plan ahead as much as we can. We are just ordinary people trying to run a business that makes sense for our community. There are no big promises here, just honest work and a desire to see our local farms do well. We keep things simple and practical because that’s what we know how to do best.
