Wakka Agro Navkrishak Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Wakka Town. If you walk past the bus stand in Longding, you will find us. We are at Jane Wangchu’s place. It is a quiet area most days, except when the buses are coming or going. This part of Tirap has a lot of hills and the weather changes fast. We are just a group of local farmers trying to work together. Most of us have been growing things here for years. It is a simple setup. We don't have a big office or anything fancy. Just a few rooms where we meet to talk about the crops and how to handle the harvest. Living in Arunachal Pradesh, you get used to the rain and the long roads. We decided to form this company because it makes sense for us farmers to stay connected. Sometimes we sit around and just discuss the price of seeds or the trouble with the soil this season. Being near the bus stand helps because people can find us easily when they come into town. We don't spend money on big ads. Most people around Wakka already know who we are anyway. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is not always easy, especially when the transport is slow, but we manage to get things done eventually without too much fuss.
