We are the Pedmoahty Farmers Producer Company Limited, and our home base is at the WBCA Mission Compound in Longding. This part of Tirap is where we all live and work. We aren't some big city firm; we are just local farmers who decided to join forces. The mission compound is a quiet spot, and it serves us well as a place to get together. We don't have any flashy advertisements or a big sales team. Instead, we have a bunch of people who know how to grow things in the local soil. Longding has its own unique climate, and we try to make the most of it with our crops. Most days, you’ll find us talking about the harvest or trying to figure out the best way to transport our goods. It’s hard work, and the pay isn't always great, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to sound like a big corporate business because we simply aren't one. We are just neighbors helping each other out under a common name. We handle the daily tasks, deal with the occasional equipment breakdown, and just keep moving forward. The company is just a tool for us to use so we can stay independent as farmers. It’s a very basic operation, rooted in the ground right here in Tirap.
