We are located on Fort Road, right in the heart of Leh. If you’ve been to Ladakh, you know how busy this road can get during the summer months. Our office is a simple place where we sit and talk to people about where they want to go. Whether it’s Pangong Lake or over the passes to Nubra, we help get the permits and the cars ready. It’s a seasonal life here. In the winter, things get very quiet and cold, and we mostly just wait for the passes to open again. But when the sun comes out, we are busy from morning till night. We have a few drivers we work with and some local guides who know the mountains well. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s just a desk with maps and some chairs for travelers to sit on. We try to give honest advice about the roads and the weather, because things can change fast up here. It’s a lot of phone calls and paperwork for the inner line permits. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and the best places to stop for tea. We just want people to see the beauty of our home without too much trouble. It’s a practical business, helping people get from one point to another in the mountains. We take things one day at a time, depending on what the weather decides to do.
