Vaibhav Bricks Udhyog

You can find us out on the Latur Barsi Road, specifically in the Murud area. It’s a big open space because you need a lot of room for the kilns and the drying area for the mud. Vaibhav Bricks Udhyog has been part of this landscape for a bit. The red soil around here is what we use to make the bricks. It’s a long process, getting the mud right and then baking them until they are hard. Latur gets very hot in the summer, which is actually good for drying the bricks before they go into the fire. We have a lot of workers who live nearby in the Taluka. Sometimes the machines act up or the wood for the fire isn't dry enough, and that causes a bit of a mess for us. We don't have a big sign or a polished front office. It's just the yard and the stacks of finished bricks waiting for a truck to arrive. People driving down the Latur Barsi Road often pull over to ask about what we have. We talk to them, maybe have some water, and get back to it. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean. By the evening, everyone is covered in dirt and soot. We just focus on the next batch. The sun goes down, the fires keep burning, and we start again the next morning. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it fills the day and keeps us moving.
