Maniyar Plastic Co.

Maniyar Plastic Co. has been operating out of Patil Complex for a good number of years. You can find us on Masjid Road, pretty close to Markaz Masjid. It’s a crowded area, especially during prayer times or on market days, but we like the energy here. We deal with all kinds of plastic goods. We have buckets, crates, and some industrial items stacked up in the back. The shop isn’t huge, so things get a bit cramped when a new shipment arrives. My father started this place, and now I run it with a couple of guys who have been with us since the beginning. We spend a lot of time unloading trucks and making sure the stock is organized, though it never stays that way for long. People from the surrounding villages come here to buy stuff for their homes or farms. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the shutters early in the morning and wait for customers. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside on the stools and chat with the neighbors until it comes back on. It’s a simple life. We know our regulars by name. Dealing with plastic isn't glamorous, but it’s what we know how to do. The road can get dusty, so we’re always dusting off the inventory. If you need something specific, you usually have to dig through the stacks yourself most of the time.
