Kalinka General Store

We’ve been running Kalinka General Store for a good while now. Our spot is right on Bazar Road in Kannad, which gets pretty crowded during the day. If you’re looking for us, we are exactly opposite the Sai Mobile Shop. Most of the people around here know us because we’re usually open early. We carry the usual things you’d expect from a general store like soaps, snacks, and stuff for the house. Sometimes the shelves look a bit crowded because we try to fit a lot in a small space, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a busy area in Aurangabad and the heat can be a lot in the summer months. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just a couple of fans going. People stop by on their way home to pick up a few things they forgot. It's just me and a couple of others helping out. We talk to the neighbors and keep track of what people are asking for lately. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a regular place where you can get what you need without much fuss. We’ve seen the road change over the years, more bikes and more noise lately. But the shop stays about the same. We just keep doing what we do every day. It’s hard work but it’s what we know.
