If you’re coming down Aurangabad Road towards the Udyog Nagar bus stand, you’ll find us at Plot No M 11. We’ve been set up here in the MIDC Industrial Area for a good bit now. The shop is usually dusty because of all the traffic and the construction work that always seems to be happening nearby. We sell machinery and parts, so the shelves are pretty packed with heavy crates and greasy metal bits. It can be a bit of a maze if you don't know where things are kept. People stop in because they saw our sign while waiting for their bus or because they’re working in one of the other factories nearby. We don't do much in the way of advertising; usually, someone just tells a friend that we might have the specific bolt or tool they’re looking for. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up when things get a bit slow in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial area, and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. It’s a simple shop, nothing too modern or polished about it. We keep track of everything by hand mostly. It gets loud with the buses honking out front, but you stop noticing it after a few weeks of working here. We have stacks of old catalogs on the counter that we still use to look up parts.
