Anand Sugar Industries

You have to go out to Village Gopalapur to find us. We are near the post office in Aliganj, Kheri. Anand Sugar Industries is right in the middle of where the cane grows. It makes sense to be here. The village is quiet most of the time, except when it’s harvest season. Then everything gets very busy. We have tractors and carts lined up all the way down the road. My family has been in this area for a long time. We aren't some big city company. We are just local people working with the crops from the fields around us. The air always smells a bit sweet when we are processing. It’s a messy job, and the machines are old, but they still work if you treat them right. We spend a lot of time fixing things and making sure everything stays on track. There isn't much to do in Gopalapur other than work, so we put all our time into the mill. We don't have a website or anything like that. If someone wants to talk to us, they usually just walk in or send a message through someone else in the village. It’s a simple way of living, and it suits us just fine. We just keep moving forward one day at a time, making sure we are ready for whatever the next harvest brings. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we are used to it by now.
