We are over at B-23 Huda Complex in Saroor Nagar. It is one of those places where you just get used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. Spectrochem Instruments has been here long enough that we know the guys at the tea stall and when the traffic gets bad on the main road. Most days are just about checking the stock and making sure the instruments are sitting right on the shelves. It isn't a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We have some desks, a few cupboards full of gear, and a lot of paperwork that seems to never end. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we just wait it out. People come by looking for specific scientific equipment and we spend time digging through the catalogs to see what fits. It is practical work. We don't spend much time on decorations. Saroor Nagar can be a bit loud with the shops nearby but it keeps things interesting. My desk is usually covered in notes and old pens that barely work. We handle the shipping and receiving ourselves most of the time. It is just a normal place where we try to keep things organized despite the chaos of the city outside. There are no big speeches here, just people doing their jobs. We have been in this spot for a good while and the walls could probably use some paint, but the work gets done anyway.
