The house name, Gloria House, usually helps people find us when they’re looking for the first time. We handle a lot of heavy material here, so moving boards and panels in and out of a place like this takes some planning. It’s not always easy, especially when the street gets crowded. We’ve got piles of stock in various corners, and the smell of wood and glue is pretty much constant. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if it’s a private limited company on paper. We don’t have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. Most of our days are spent checking measurements or loading up small trucks for deliveries around the city.
