If you find yourself in Phase-Ii of the Ida in Cherlapally, you will come across us at Plot No. 99/1/B. Godavari Plasto Containers Pvt. Ltd. has been sitting on this plot for years. We make plastic containers, mostly for industrial use, but we see all sorts of needs come through the gate. The factory floor is always full of the smell of warm plastic and the sound of the molding machines clicking away. It is not the quietest place to spend a day, but we are used to it by now. The Ida gets pretty busy during shift changes, so we try to time our loading and unloading around the traffic. Our office is just a small room off to the side where we keep the paperwork. We don't really go for anything flashy. Most of our budget goes into keeping the machines running and making sure the plastic we use is the right kind for the job. We have a crew that has been with us for a long time, so everyone knows their job without being told. Sometimes the electricity in Cherlapally acts up, and we have to sit around and wait for the power to come back on, which is frustrating. But mostly, we just keep the production line moving. It is a regular job for us. We just want to make containers that don't leak and get them to the people who need them. It is honest work for everyone here at the plant. We're just glad to be here.
