Shanti Juniors

You can find Shanti Juniors down in the basement of the Hireshwer Complex on Sanshkar Nagar Road. Being in Bhuj, we are used to the local climate and the way things work around here. The school is tucked away, so it stays a bit cooler even when the sun is out. It is a compact space, but we have managed to fit in everything we need for the children. Most of our days are spent supervising play and helping the kids with their basic lessons. There is usually a lot of noise because children that age don't really know how to stay quiet. We have colorful mats on the floor and small cubbies where the kids keep their bags. The staff here is mostly local women who have been working with children for years. We handle the daily mess and the constant questions without much trouble. Since we are in a commercial complex, there are other businesses around, but we keep to our own section. We make sure the entrance is clear and that the parents have a place to wait when they come to collect their kids. It isn't a huge, sprawling campus, just a functional space in the 370001 area. We focus on the routine of snacks, naps, and simple learning. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we are used to it and it keeps the place running smoothly for the families in Sanshkar Nagar. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
