Mom'S School

Mom's School is located in New Lotus Colony in Bhuj. If you’ve been to Bhuj, you know how it is—sometimes the wind is dusty and the sun is really bright. Our school is a small place where the local kids from the colony and nearby areas come to learn. We don't have a massive campus with stadiums, just a few rooms and a small space for the children to play. We try to keep it simple. Most of the teachers are locals who have been with us for years. We spend our mornings greeting the kids at the gate and the afternoons making sure they get home safely. The furniture is basic, and the walls are covered with student work. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows each other’s names. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the essentials like books and blackboards. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows wider. We focus on the basics of reading and writing. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for when it’s time for a break and the kids are all out at once. We like being part of the community here in Bhuj. It’s a practical school for regular families, and we just do our best to keep the day running smoothly without any big fuss or complicated rules. We see the same parents every day and it feels like a big family.
