Rishabh Tyre is at Shop No 1, on Plot No. 92 in Ward 12/b. We are right by the Police Station Char Rasta in Gandhidham-kachchh. Being at a Char Rasta, or a four-way intersection, means there is always a lot of noise and traffic right outside our front door. The shop is filled with the smell of new and old rubber, which you get used to after about ten minutes of being here. We have tyres stacked up almost to the ceiling in some parts of the shop. It is a physical job; we are constantly rolling tyres in and out, using the jacks, and getting our hands dirty with road grime and grease. Shop No 1 is right on the corner, so it is very convenient for drivers who have a problem and need help quickly. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. Most people just stand around and watch us work or go grab a tea at the stall nearby while they wait for their wheels to be ready. The police station being so close makes it a well-known spot in the ward. We have been here for years, and our tools are well-worn from daily use. It is a tough, honest way to make a living, and we just focus on getting the vehicles back on the road safely. There isn't any corporate polish here, just a lot of rubber and hard physical work.
