R J Mehta Co is found over on Kachchh Kala Road, specifically at Plot No. 211 in Sector 1-a. Gandhidham is where we have set up shop, and this particular sector is mostly full of other businesses and some warehouses. It’s a practical location for what we do. The road outside can get a bit congested during the morning hours when everyone is arriving at work. Our plot is tucked in among a few others, and the building is just a standard brick and mortar structure. It’s not very large, but we make the most of the space we have. Most of the rooms are filled with desks and files, and there is always someone on the phone or working at a computer. We have been in Kachchh for quite a while, so we know the local rhythm. The windows look out onto the street, where you can see the daily bustle of the town. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just a handful of us making sure everything runs smoothly from day to day. We take our lunches together sometimes when it’s not too busy. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, though we do have our hectic moments like anyone else. There is no polished lobby or reception desk; you just come in and find whoever is available to talk. That’s how we’ve always done things here. We just focus on the work that needs to be finished.
