Akash Computer

If you come looking for Akash Computer, you will find us in Gandhidham, specifically over at Ward 12 B. We took over offices 7 through 10 because we needed more space for all the hardware and parts that keep piling up. It is a busy spot on Plot 216. Sometimes it feels like we are surrounded by screens and tangled cables. People walk in with laptops that won't turn on or asking for a specific part they can't find elsewhere. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, the desks get pretty messy with tools and screws. The air conditioning in the back office is a bit temperamental, so it gets stuffy when it’s hot outside in Kachchh. We have a small team here. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the local folks pretty well. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or anything. The shelves are just full of motherboards, keyboards, and cardboard boxes. We spend a lot of time looking at monitors and trying to figure out why things aren't working right. It is a quiet kind of work most of the time, except when someone is testing a set of speakers. We just do our thing and help out whoever comes through the door. It is a decent place to spend the day, even if the stairs are a bit steep. We have been here for a while and we don’t really plan on moving anywhere else.
