Ajanta Arts

Ajanta Arts is a little shop or office at 108 Madansingh Chowk in Adipur. We are right there in the middle of Kachchh. It’s a place where we do a lot of creative things, though it usually looks a bit messy with all the materials lying around. We’ve been at Madansingh Chowk for quite a while. People in Adipur know us as the place to go when they need something artistic done. It is not a very big space, so we have to be careful where we put things so we don't trip. There is usually some paint or some scraps of paper on the floor, but that is just part of the process. We spend our days working on different projects, sometimes for local people and sometimes for businesses. It is a very hands-on kind of job. We don’t have a fancy front desk or anything like that. You just walk in and you see us working. The lighting is a bit dim in the back, but we have some good lamps for the detailed stuff. It’s a humble place, and we like it that way. We aren’t trying to be a big gallery; we are just local folks making things. It’s a busy life but we enjoy being part of the Adipur community. Most of our work comes from people just stopping by to see what we're up to today.
