Venus Enterprises

We are based in Swami Vivekanand Market, right on Oslo Road. We have shops 20 and 21, and we also use the plots 122 and 123 for our stuff. It’s a crowded area, especially on market days. You can hear the motorbikes and people shouting all day long. Venus Enterprises is just a small outfit really. We have some shelves piled high with boxes and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit down. My desk is tucked in the corner behind some old files. We get a lot of people walking by and peeking in. The neighborhood is okay, there’s a tea stall just a few shops down that we go to twice a day. The shutters are a bit heavy to pull up in the morning, especially if your back is acting up. We’ve been in this market for quite some time, so we know most of the other shopkeepers around here. It’s not like those fancy malls you see in the city center. It’s real, it’s noisy, and it gets pretty hot under the tin roof when the sun is out. We just keep the doors open and try to stay cool with a small table fan. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything in two shops and two plots, but we manage. Most days we are just busy sorting things out or talking to whoever stops by. It is just a simple way to spend the day for us.
