Dudik Kanyum Upper Subansiri Agro Producer Company Limited

Our place is right there in the Ganga Daily Market area, not too far from the RK Mission in Itanagar. If you know the area, it's pretty busy most mornings. We are called Dudik Kanyum Upper Subansiri Agro Producer Company Limited. It’s a long name for a group of people just trying to get their farming business sorted. Most of the folks involved come from the Upper Subansiri side, where the land is a bit different than here in the city. We ended up setting this up because doing everything alone as a single farmer is just too much work these days. We handle a lot of different agro products that come down from the hills. The market is where everything happens, so being close to the daily hustle makes sense for us. It isn't a fancy office with big desks and glass walls. It's more of a practical spot where we can meet and talk about the crops or the transport. Sometimes the weather in Arunachal makes things difficult, especially when the roads get messy, but we just keep going. We don't really have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just focus on what is being grown and how to move it. It’s just us, some local people from the village and some who stay near Itanagar now, trying to make the farming thing work out for everyone involved. It’s plain work, nothing more.
