Shiva Steel Traders

We set up Shiva Steel Traders out in Amargarh. We are pretty close to the Hanuman Temple in the Majhara area of Kheri Markanda. It is a quiet enough spot until the trucks start arriving with the heavy steel loads. We handle rods, sheets, and all kinds of heavy metal stuff. It is hard work and it is definitely hard on the back after a long day. We have a yard where we keep most of the inventory. It isn't very pretty to look at, just a lot of grey metal and some rust here and there from the rain. We spend a lot of time outside regardless of whether it is raining or the sun is beating down on us. We have a small shed where we keep the records and where we sit when we aren't loading anything onto the trailers. Most people find us because they see the temple and then they see our stacks of steel nearby. We don't do much advertising. People just know we are here by word of mouth. We talk to the truck drivers and the builders who need supplies for their jobs. We try to be fair with people on the prices. Sometimes the scales act up and we have to spend an hour fixing them. It’s just me and a couple of other guys working here. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. It is a simple life and we don't ask for much more than a steady stream of work.
