National Agro Seeds

Our shop, National Agro Seeds, is situated right near Md Hospital, so it is a landmark most people in the area recognize easily. There is always a lot of movement around here, with people coming and going from the hospital and the shops nearby. We have been working with seeds for a long time now, and the place always smells a bit like dry earth and burlap sacks. If you walk inside, you will see rows of bags stacked up against the walls, all categorized by what is currently in season. It is a simple setup with a wooden counter and a few chairs for when the local farmers come in to chat about the weather or the soil. We don't use a computer for everything; a lot of our notes are still kept in thick ledgers with handwritten entries. The light coming through the front window is usually filtered by the dust from the street. We keep the doors open most of the time to catch whatever breeze there is. It can get pretty busy during the planting months, with people coming in from early in the morning. We just try to keep the stock organized so we can find what someone needs quickly. There is no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that has been wobbling for years. It is a quiet kind of life, watching the cycles of the seasons and making sure the seeds are kept dry and safe until they are ready to go into the ground.
