Down in Jyoti Nagar, Kurukshetra, you will find our office at 2405/5. Kurukshetra is a place with so much history, but our daily life here is pretty modern and centered around the overseas trade. We deal with a lot of paperwork and logistics, which isn't always the most exciting thing to talk about, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. The office is usually a bit cluttered with documents and samples of what we are shipping out. We have a small staff and we all know each other's families, so it feels more like a home than a strict workplace. Sometimes the internet is slow and we can't send our emails to clients abroad, which can be frustrating when you are on a deadline. We just wait it out and have another cup of tea. Haryana can be very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, so our office environment changes with the seasons. We aren't some massive company with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us making sure that the goods get from point A to point B without too many problems. We have been in Jyoti Nagar for a while now and we like being part of the community here. It is a quiet spot, away from the main highway noise, which makes it easier to focus on the details of the export business. We just do our bit every day at Avtar Overseas.
