Jai Durga Milk Products Pvt. Ltd. is located right on Ladwa Pipli Road in the village of Mathana. It’s a rural setting, which is perfect for what we do. We are surrounded by fields, and the air is a bit clearer out here than in the cities. Our facility is where we take the milk and get it ready for people to use. It’s a lot of pipes, tanks, and cooling systems. We spend our time monitoring temperatures and making sure the floors stay scrubbed clean. In Mathana, everyone knows where the milk plant is. It’s a main part of the local economy around here. We hire a lot of people from around the village. The work is steady, but it is hard. We start early and finish whenever the work is finally done. There isn't much of a front office; we mostly just have a small room with a desk for the paperwork. We prefer being on the floor where the action is happening. The road outside gets some heavy truck traffic, which is how we move our products out to the towns nearby. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a schedule that we follow to make sure the milk doesn't sit around. It’s a basic operation but it is ours, and we take pride in just getting the job done correctly. Every day is pretty much the same routine.
