We are based in Sco-12 in Sector 10, which is very close to the New Bus Stand in Kurukshetra. It’s a convenient spot because people coming from out of town can find us easily after they get off the bus. The office is on the ground floor, so nobody has to climb many stairs. We deal with a lot of paperwork regarding visas and schools in other countries. It can be a bit overwhelming with all the forms and different rules that change every other month. We have a few computers and a printer that occasionally jams when we're in a hurry. Most of our day is spent reading through documents and explaining things to young people who want to go study somewhere else. We aren't a giant firm with branches everywhere, just a local office trying to make sense of the immigration process. Sometimes the office gets crowded on Saturday mornings, so people have to wait in the hallway. We keep some old magazines out, but most people just look at their phones. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; it’s usually just one of us getting up from our desk to say hello. We try to be honest about how long things take. There's no point in promising something that depends on a government office miles away. We just do the work and hope the mail comes on time and everything goes okay.
