Holagunda is a quiet spot in Kurnool. Vsl Steels is run from here, specifically near the S.R. Camp area. It’s mostly about managing the loads and keeping track of the steel that comes in. Sampath Kumar handles a lot of the day-to-day things. If you know this part of the district, you know it gets quite hot and dusty during the summer months. The yard can be a bit messy sometimes with the trucks coming in and out, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of work. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s not a fancy office with glass doors or anything like that. It’s a practical space where we get the work done. The S/O G. Prasad Rao part of the name comes from the family roots here. Most of the people around here know us by name rather than the company sign. We deal with local builders and some people from the nearby villages who need materials for their small projects. Sometimes the power goes out, or the internet is slow, but we manage. We just keep the ledger books ready and make sure the deliveries are on time. It’s simple work, really. No big meetings or corporate talk. We just show up in the morning, check the inventory, and talk to the drivers. That’s our life here in Holagunda.
