Ramudu Engineering Works

Our workshop, Ramudu Engineering Works, sits over at 25/128/5 in the Chigurumanpet area. We are quite close to Gooty Road, which makes it easy for folks in Dhone to find us when they need something fixed. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything like that, just a regular place where we do manual work every day. The shop has been in this spot for a bit, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. Most mornings start with moving the bigger pieces of iron out so we have enough room to move around inside. It’s a dusty job, and the heat in Dhone can get pretty intense during the summer months, but we just keep the fans running and get on with it. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer phones professionally. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and picks it up. We do a lot of welding and cutting, mostly for the locals and some of the drivers coming off the main road. The floors are usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the shift. We try to keep things organized, but when you're busy, things tend to pile up in the corners. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till the sun goes down. We are just a bunch of regular guys working with our hands.
