Shreeram Engg. Industries

Shreeram Engg. Industries is located right on Silver Jubli Park Road at No. 578. The building is called Sindoori, and it’s right in the middle of all the noise and bustle of the city. If you’ve ever been down this road, you know it’s always packed with trucks and people moving things around. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners on the block. Our space is filled with tools and metal scraps, and there’s usually the smell of grease in the air. It’s an engineering shop, so it’s never really quiet. We work on various mechanical parts and repairs. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find a plush waiting room. Usually, people just walk in, show us what they need fixed, and we see what we can do. Some of the machines we use are quite old, but they still work better than the new ones sometimes. We have a small crew that knows exactly where every tool is kept, even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. Lunch breaks are usually taken right there at the workbench. We don’t bother with big ads or anything. Most of our work comes from people who have been coming to this street for decades. It’s a bit of a grind, but it’s what we know. The traffic outside never seems to stop, and we just keep our heads down and work through it until it's time to close up the shutters for the night. We'll be back tomorrow.
